The Kortright Centre promotes the wise use of natural resources through educational walks, exhibits, demonstrations and special events on its 324–hectare woodland site north of Toronto. The new Environmental Education Centre will be a state–of–the–art education and gathering facility on the Kortright campus that will showcase, demonstrate and promote sustainable living and building practices, embodying the philosophy of “education through example.”
